This membrane kit is part of the fuel supply system in two-stroke Suzuki outboard engines, acting within the diaphragm pump that drives the fuel from the tank to the carburetor. The membranes are the flexible elements that, through pressure and vacuum cycles generated by the engine crankcase, create the pumping effect necessary to guarantee a constant and stable supply of fuel. When these diaphragms deteriorate, fuel flow is compromised, causing idling problems, acceleration jerks or even unexpected engine stoppage while sailing.
