Function and technical context

Aluminum epoxy bar is a fast-hardening two-component compound designed specifically for the structural and watertight repair of surfaces and parts made of marine aluminum alloys. It works by filling cracks, breaks, perforations and porosities in aluminum hulls, engine casings, transmission systems, water and fuel tanks, and any aluminum component subjected to the action of salt or fresh water. Once cured, the resulting material can be machined: it can be sanded, drilled and drilled exactly the same as the base aluminum, allowing the repaired part to be returned to its original design dimensions and functionality. Its use avoids the complete replacement of expensive parts when the damage is localized and repairable with this type of structural putty.

When to use this epoxy repair bar?

It is the immediate remedy for cracks or leaks detected in aluminum structures during navigation or when grounded, especially when humidity is observed in dry compartments, loss of tightness in tanks or visible deterioration due to galvanic corrosion or impact.
