Volvo 873411 Given Anode is a cathodic protection component specifically designed to prevent galvanic corrosion in cooling systems and drive shafts of Volvo Penta marine engines. Made of high purity aluminum, it acts as a galvanic sacrifice to protect higher value metal components in fresh and salt water circuits. Its M16 threaded socket geometry allows direct and secure installation at critical points in the system.
The controlled consumption rate guarantees prolonged protection when sailing in salt water, with simple periodic maintenance that ensures the integrity of the cooling circuit. Mounting is direct via M16 thread on 25 mm diameter axles.
