Function and technical context

This fuel filter plays a critical role in the fuel supply system, preventing dirt particles, rust and sediment from the tank from contaminating the injectors and fuel pump. Installed in the supply line between the tank and the engine, it retains impurities that would otherwise cause clogging of the injection ducts and progressive loss of power. Its direct state determines fuel flow quality and, by extension, ignition performance and reliability in small displacement outboard engine systems.

When to replace this part?

Preventive replacement of this filter is advisable every navigation season or every 100-150 hours of operation, especially if the fuel has remained in the tank for long periods.
