Function and technical context

The diesel injector cleaner acts directly on the fuel supply system, eliminating carbon deposits, varnish and paraffin residues that accumulate in the injector nozzles with continued use of the engine. Its chemical formulation dissolves internal scale without having to dismantle the injectors, allowing the correct fuel spray pattern to be restored. A partially clogged injector alters the air-fuel mixture, which results in incomplete combustion, increased diesel consumption and black smoke emissions from the exhaust. Keeping injectors clean is essential to preserve engine thermal efficiency and prevent premature deterioration of other powertrain components. The treatment is added directly to the fuel tank, acting during the normal engine work cycle.

When to use this product?

The most common symptoms that indicate that the injectors need cleaning are: difficult starting when cold, unstable or irregular idling, noticeable loss of power at full load, black or bluish smoke from the exhaust pipe and increased fuel consumption without apparent cause. Its use is recommended preventively at the beginning and end of each navigation season, as well as every 50-100 hours of operation in engines with intensive use or that operate with diesel of variable quality. Incorporating this treatment into the periodic maintenance of the outboard or inboard diesel engine is an economical measure that can avoid ultrasonic cleaning or injector replacement, considerably more expensive interventions.
