Its main function is to firmly secure the fresh or salt water bucket to the engine block, preventing displacement due to vibration during operation or when navigating in rough waters. The component operates in an environment of continuous exposure to humidity, salinity and severe thermal fluctuations, requiring corrosion resistance and very precise fitting tolerances.
