This component is responsible for interrupting the ignition circuit when the emergency stop button is pressed, guaranteeing immediate shutdown of the engine in critical situations. It is a fundamental element in the boat's safety system, since its direct reliability affects the ability to respond to emergencies and the protection of both the crew and the boat.
When to replace this part?
A defective disconnector is manifested by the inability to turn off the engine using the stop button, slow response of the cutting system, or corroded internal contacts that prevent the correct conduction of the stop signal.
