The Multi-e ALUM.AMITA4 14.50×17 Right propeller is the propulsion element that transforms the energy of the engine into directional movement of the boat. Mounted on the tail shaft of Yamaha and Selva outboard motors, it works in the marine transmission system, submerged in water and subjected to continuous rotation. Its correct function is essential to maintain navigation performance, maneuverability and fuel efficiency; A defect in its blades generates vibration, loss of power, unwanted lateral drift and, in severe cases, cavitation that damages both the propeller and shaft bearings.
When to replace this part?
Inspect the propeller at the beginning of each season and after impacts with submerged objects; Symptoms of needing replacement include abnormal vibration at cruising speed, loss of acceleration, unusual engine noise, visible deformation in the blades or breakage.
