Function and technical context

This brass female/female elbow with a 90º angle and 3/8" connection size is a nautical plumbing accessory designed to change the direction of pipe routing in onboard installations, allowing fluid circuits to be rerouted in confined spaces in the engine compartment. It is commonly used in fresh water cooling systems, fuel circuits, seawater lines or bilge installations where the pipe must rotate at a right angle without loss of tightness.
