Function and technical context

The cleaner for RIBs and inflatable boats is a chemical product specifically formulated for the cleaning and maintenance of the air tubes that make up the inflatable hull of this type of boat. It acts on the surface of PVC, Hypalon and other synthetic materials used in the manufacture of semi-rigid and pneumatic boats, eliminating deposits of dirt, algae, sea salt, oil and wear stains. Its regular application maintains the integrity of the tube material, preventing premature aging, cracking and loss of structural pressure. A neglected tube accumulates contaminants that degrade the elastomer and compromise the tightness, putting the buoyancy and safety of the boat at risk.

When to use this cleaner?

It is advisable to apply this cleaner at least at the beginning and end of each boating season, as well as after prolonged exposure to salt water, fuel or fuel oil. Symptoms that indicate that the tubes need urgent cleaning include the appearance of dark or greenish stains that are difficult to remove with water, a sticky feel on the surface, loss of the color of the material, or the presence of embedded saline dioxide. Treating the tubes preventively, before the dirt adheres deeply to the material, considerably extends the useful life of the inflatable boat and avoids high-cost repair or replacement of tubes.
