Function and technical context

Suzuki Cool White paint is a lacquer specifically formulated for the renewal and protection of the hood, casing and plastic or metal elements of the Suzuki outboard motor. It acts as a barrier against marine corrosion, humidity and UV rays, maintaining the aesthetic finish of the engine in optimal conditions. A well-protected casing not only preserves the value of the motor, but also makes it easier to visually detect leaks, cracks or other anomalies during maintenance inspections.

When to replace or reapply this paint?

Outboard motor paint should be checked at the beginning of each nautical season: continued exposure to salt water, saltpeter and the sun causes peeling, yellowing and loss of adhesion that leaves the base material unprotected. It is recommended to reapply when areas with lifted paint, surface oxidation or changes in tone appear with respect to the factory Cool White color. A preventive application at the beginning of the season prolongs the useful life of the casing and avoids higher cost interventions due to advanced corrosion.
