This pair of rudder anodes made of magnesium alloy (MG) with dimensions Ø 127x15 mm acts as an electrochemical sacrifice on the metal surfaces of the boat's steering system, protecting the rudder and adjacent elements against galvanic corrosion. Magnesium is the material of choice for boats sailing in fresh waters or low-conductivity brines, where other metals such as zinc or aluminum offer insufficient protection.
