Volvo DP290 Tail Repair Kit
Comprehensive repair kit for the Volvo Penta DP290 tail unit that brings together the essential components of the water cooling system, bellows protection and cathodic defense using sacrificial anodes. This set provides the complete solution for preventive and corrective maintenance of the propeller tail on recreational and professional boats.
The components integrated in this kit guarantee hydraulic tightness, efficient cooling water circulation and protection against electrochemical corrosion in salt water environments, ensuring durability and optimal operation of the propulsion unit.
Components included in the kit
- Water hose (ref. 876632): Ensures the circulation of cooling water in the internal circuits of the tail unit, maintaining the correct operating temperatures of the engine.
- Transom bellows (ref. 876294): Protects the connection area between the engine and the propeller tail against water infiltration and degradation of the hydraulic systems.
- Exhaust bellows (ref. 876631): Channels the exhaust gases to the outside with total tightness, preventing gas leaks in the transom area.
- Sacrificial anodes (ref. 875821 and 852835): They prevent electrochemical corrosion of metal components in direct contact with salt water through cathodic galvanization.
